Gulfstream experimental test pilots eased the Gulfstream G500 toward higher altitudes and faster airspeeds on the aircraft's second flight. Subsequent flights will continue to guide the aircraft to its designed performance specifications: A maximum Mach of 0.925 and a maximum range of 5,000 nautical miles/9,260 kilometers at Mach 0.85.
